These are indeed metal, usually made from iron, copper, zinc, pewter and brass, but they differ widely in the processes to make them and require a variety of tooling, equipment and craftsman skills.  They were once widely made in the UK, but today economics means that most are imported in from Asia.

While we make some metal lapel badges on site here in the uk, some require specialist equipment and skills and on these occasions we import from our partner manufacturer in Asia who we know offer the best quality.
